MEDICAL CAMP in connection with NAVAPOOJITHAM 97 - Guru Jayanthi Celebrations

Navapoojitham, the 97th birthday celebration of Navajyothi Sree Karunakara Guru, held at Santhigiri Ashram on 22nd August 2023. The celebrations were inaugurated by Former President Shri. Ram Nath Kovind and Governor of Kerala Shri.Arif Muhammad Khan was the chief guest. Former President said that Navjyothi Shri Karunakaraguru’s darshans are focused on transcendental spirituality and human unity. Governor in his address pointed out that Santhigiri emanates the message of oneness. The celebrations started from 5.00am with so many eminent personalities participating in the various programs of the function.
In association with Navapoojitham celebrations Santhigiri Siddha Medical College and its Alumni Association jointly conducted a free Siddha Medical camp with speciality of Varma medical treatment. Free medicine were distributed at in the research zone of Santhigiri Ashram from 9.00 am to 7.00 p.m. The camp was actively involved by the department of special medicine and medical professionals in the Varma. Dr.DK Soundarajan, principal along with his team and Alumni Doctors consulted and provided services in the makeshift arrangement for interventions. Almost 200 patients were benefited through this camp and so many could discuss their case with medical experts. |
