An international conference conducted on 10th& 11th August 2023 at Chennai by National Institute of Siddha(NIS), Central Council for Research in Siddha(CCRS), TNMGR Medical University, Chennai along with Directorate of Indian System of Medicine, Government of Tamilnadu on Siddha dietics and nutrition.
Our students, faculties and alumni doctors participated. So many papers were presented by our students and faculties participated in various events including presentation of papers & posters and other technical sessions. In which Mrs.Renjitha faculty of Medicinal Botany won the first place in Poster presentation in the theme of Drugs Standardisation. Dr Vrinda faculty of Special Medicine department won the 3rd place in paper presentation. Dr. Janani Shyamaroopa Jnana Thapaswini currently a doctorate student at NIS also won a consolation prize in the paper presentation. Alumni's Dr. Hitha, Dr. Kavitha, Dr. Parvathy also presented papers along other faculties and students in oral and in posters section. Infact the event was participated by so many Santhigiri Siddha fraternity in a grand manner emphasising the interest in Siddha in total. In a felicitation meeting held at the Santhigiri Siddha Medical College on 14th August 2023, the vice principal Dr.Hariharan congratulated the participants of the international conference and winners of various events in Siddha dietics and nutrition. |
